Today we moved into our new cottage. Grange Cottage is located right next to the the Mt. Irvine Golf Course. It is a very rustic cottage set on 2 acres of forested land right off Grange beach.
Wayne picked us up so we could shop for groceries after moving in. When evening came, Wayne came by for rum punch. The only problem with this idyllic setting was that were infested with millions of mosquitos and the cottage had no nets and insufficient facilities to deal with them and all the other bugs.
It is also much more secluded than we were led to believe -- definitely NOT easy walking distance to shops and restaraunts. It is VERY, VERY rustic and this being an uncommonly wet rainy season, it is a VERY, VERY buggy place (with no nets, no real windows or doors). We should have brought a couple of caseloads of insect repellent. Kinda of a cross between a real cabin and an old-style yosemite housekeeping tent. We're not sure we'll survive the night. We agree to try it out and assess.
