Even though we knew it was low season for the island, it was surprising to see just how quiet things were. There were few tourists and almost no other Americans. The events of 9/11 and the downturn in the economy seems to have impacted the tourist trade in Tobago.
This is one of several beautiful, uncrowded beaches we stopped at during our driving tour.
