not as better as i thought...
so i'm not dripping or hacking as bad as i was, so i thought i was better. i took myself out for a short walk (about 9 blocks or so) to the post office and picked up a few things at the local produce store on the way back home.
i was exhausted and winded by the time i got back home... not as "better" as i thought i was... i will be staying home another day.

thanksgiving and abundance
the holiday clock has struck... on thanksgiving day, i came down with a bad cold and i've been sick since then. i was hoping to be well enough to get to work today but it looks like i'll have to waste a vacation day recuperating. i definitely don't want to slide down that recurring sickie path i suffered during last year's holiday season.
in the meantime, i'm starting to feel better and have taken the opportunity to wash and use some of my new pots and pans. i've got a big pile of old cookware to be discarded in my foyer.
i got a little carried away with the open stock sale at macys but so what?! i have no regrets.
